The RES 1BE1 Exam applies to persons who holds an existing RES 1B (or Module 1B) certification but wishes to deal in Capital Markets Products (CMP) that are securities and/or units in a collective investment scheme for a principal who is a member of the Singapore Exchange Securities Trading Ltd (SGX-ST) i.e. "upgrade" to RES 1A.

If you wish to prepare for RES 1BE1, make sure you have already passed 1B previously, and sign up for a RES 1A plan with us. Then, inform the customer service that you are preparing for 1BE1, and we will customize your 1A plan accordingly for 1BE1.

- 40 MCQs (computer-based)
- Duration: 1 Hr
- Passing score: 75%
- Fee: $120 for Non-Members, $100 for Corporate Members.

There is no exemption for this exam.

Change in Answering Format

Since 1 April 2024, all IBF exams require you to choose 1 out of 4 options, which could be a mix of options (e.g. B and C). Our practice questions are deliberately more challenging by not providing combinations to discourage guessing.
